Some of you may already know this: David Hartridge has now officially stepped down as Swindon Foodbank’s Project Manager. Dave had previously been a trustee of the charity and has admirably fulfilled the role as PM over the past 9 months. Dave is returning to work in the food manufacturing industry and we wish him all the best in his new venture.
Since tendering his resignation at the end of April the trustees have been busy inviting and processing applications for the position and subsequently holding interviews. The trustees would like to thank all those that showed their interest in taking on the role.
Consequently the trustees are pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Hill as the new PM as of today: Monday 16th June.
Many will already know Andrew who has volunteered with us since October 2012, acted as caretaker July/August last year between PM’s and has been the Assistant PM since September 2013.
Andrew says; “It’s “business” as usual at Swindon Foodbank. I feel very honoured to be given this responsibility but the people that really make what we do possible are the many volunteers, donors and supporters in and around our town: This is your out reach to our neighbours in need and I am privileged to be able to work alongside you: Thank you”.
