The first Foodbank Hoedown held on Saturday 5th October at the Supermarine Club was a great evening of food, fun and dancing for those who came.
The staff at the Supermarine Club were great hosts, Fred Swift provided an excellent Hog Roast and the Hoedown Band gave a brilliant evening of entertainment with their music, singing and a caller for the dancing. Everyone was able to join in even if they didn't know the steps beforehand.
The volunteers at Restore made an excellent jail that people could have their photograph taken in by our Photographer Martin Bennett. They also provided a tin can alley, giant yahtzee and giant cards for a game of darts.
We were able to award prizes for the three people who achieved best results in the three games. There were 34 raffle prizes to give out and 11 Silent Auctions
A good time was had by all!
