Swindon Restore opened its doors to the public on 2nd June, with great success. They've had good numbers of customers through the doors daily, and have made many successful sales in the shop and cafe area. They've also received a number of applications for more volunteers, which is great news.
Now they plan to hold their first table sale in the car park in front of St John’s Church Hall on Saturday 25th July 2011, from 10am to 3.30pm. There will be many items for sale in the car park, and the cafe will be open for tea, coffee and cakes.
With the shop open and the sorting area organised the next target is to get the workshop up and running so that work can begin on repairing and refurbishing furniture etc.
Come and see what Swindon Restore are doing sometime, and remember them when you have items to dispose of or pass on. Swindon Restore can take almost anything you want to give and will collect large items of furniture if you wish.
